Meet Thomas Johnson!
aka “Coach Tommy”
Tom has been playing golf for over 50 years. For eleven years he studied under the tutelage of PGA Pro George Bayer (winner of 6 PGA tour events), at the Detroit Golf Club. Tom also attended the Arnold Palmer Golf Academy at Bayhill C.C. in Bay Hill, Florida.
In 2018, Thomas started teaching junior golf at the Grand Traverse Resort Golf Academy (and still does). Thomas also plays a vital role in the success of Elmbrook’s “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” League. He will continue teaching & working with the “Girls” this season as well as working with a new group of ladies in our newest league, “Girls Golf League”, otherwise know as the “GGC”!!
“Coach Tommy” is thrilled to be teaching both juniors and adults at Elmbrook. His passion for the game of golf is contagious and his teaching techniques are well received by golfers of any age!
